Ready to Gift

Inspired by the quiet pleasure of wandering through a small summer garden. Dark hand-painted flowers and leaves move across the cup and plate like little scenes gathered along the way, while the soft blue glaze adds a cool, refreshing touch.

This pieces carry Xinfeng Wang’s natural clay language: rustic texture, botanical lines, visible handwork, and a gentle balance between playfulness and calm. The cup feels warm in the hand, and the plate can hold tea snacks, fruit, dessert, or simply become part of a slow table setting.

Made for tea, coffee, and everyday pauses, Garden Walk turns a daily drink into a small walk through handmade flowers.

Dimensions

Plate diameter: 16 cm / approx. 6.3 in
Cup capacity: 250 ml / approx. 8.5 fl oz

Materials

Hand-thrown and hand-pinched stoneware, decorated with underglaze or in-glaze techniques. Fired at high temperatures (1220–1280°C) for durability and a unique rustic texture.

Each tumbler is shaped and painted entirely by hand. Subtle variations in brushstroke, glaze tone, and pattern placement are a natural result of the process—making every piece uniquely its own.

Time to make

15–20 days

Care

Not microwave or oven safe. Hand wash gently with mild soap. Due to the porous nature of stoneware, temporary "rain-leak" spots may appear when wet but will vanish once dry. For best results, soak in rice water overnight before first use to season the clay.
