Ready to Gift

A single flower, a few scattered dots, and room for the imagination to wander.

Wildflower II takes a more minimal approach to botanical art. A dark, rounded flower head rises above slender leaves and a textured stem, while scattered dots add a quiet sense of movement to the softly speckled, blush-toned surface.

The simple composition allows the handmade details to take center stage. Fine incised lines, contrasting dark decoration, and the plate's naturally irregular edge give it an understated, artistic character without feeling overly polished.

Created by ceramic artist Xinfeng Wang, this plate brings a little piece of nature into the home. Display it on its own or combine it with other handmade ceramics for a relaxed, thoughtfully layered arrangement.

Dimensions

16 cm diameter / 6.3 in

Materials

Hand-thrown and hand-pinched stoneware, decorated with underglaze or in-glaze techniques. Fired at high temperatures (1220–1280°C) for durability and a unique rustic texture.

Each piece is shaped and painted entirely by hand. Subtle variations in brushstrokes, glaze tones, and pattern placement are a natural part of the process, making every piece truly one of a kind.

Time to make

15–20 days

Care

Not microwave or oven safe. Hand wash gently with mild soap. Due to the porous nature of stoneware, temporary "rain-leak" spots may appear when wet but will vanish once dry. For best results, soak in rice water overnight before first use to season the clay.
