Wild Growth is full of leaves, stems, and flowers pressing gently into one another. Cool green lacquer meets silver-toned botanical forms, with fine carved lines tracing each leaf. Little points of gold appear among the foliage, rewarding a second look. The dense relief takes two to three months to make, through successive stages of carving, lacquer spraying, and sanding. That time is visible in the smallest grooves and layered edges. The composition has the energy of a thriving patch of wilderness, bringing a quiet sense of life to a reading corner or a room filled with plants.

This is a unique, one-of-a-kind original. Once sold, it will not be restocked.
