Summer Flower Rain is a hand-painted stoneware tumbler series by Xinfeng Wang, where bold dark flowers meet soft drops of summer rain. The rounded hand-held shape feels warm and grounding, while the painted petals, tiny rain marks, and earthy clay interior bring a quiet sense of play to everyday rituals.

Each tumbler carries Xinfeng Wang’s natural, slightly rustic language: simple botanical forms, visible handwork, and colors that feel both cheerful and calm. Pink, cream, yellow, blue, and muted stone tones become small variations of the same summer mood, like flowers seen after a light passing shower.

Made for tea, coffee, milk, juice, or a slow drink beside the window, Summer Flower Rain turns an ordinary cup into a little handmade moment of softness and joy.

Materials

Hand-thrown and hand-pinched stoneware, decorated with underglaze or in-glaze techniques. Fired at high temperatures (1220–1280°C) for durability and a unique rustic texture.

Each tumbler is shaped and painted entirely by hand. Subtle variations in brushstroke, glaze tone, and pattern placement are a natural result of the process—making every piece uniquely its own.

Care

Not microwave or oven safe. Hand wash gently with mild soap. Due to the porous nature of stoneware, temporary "rain-leak" spots may appear when wet but will vanish once dry. For best results, soak in rice water overnight before first use to season the clay.
