The Blurred Summer was born from the strange rhythm of summer 2026: fast, bright, and somehow endless. While imagining new works in the studio, artist NianSan found herself drifting toward another kind of daydream: walking through a summer forest, sitting beside a quiet stream, and drinking tea under shifting leaves.

This painting holds that tender pause between doing and being. Warm amber light, softened leaf shadows, and blurred edges create the feeling of a summer afternoon remembered through half-closed eyes. 

Work matters, but work is not the whole of life. May this piece leave room for rest, wandering, and the small rituals that bring us back to ourselves.
