Story
A pale lotus leaf opens across the surface, almost dissolving into white crystalline textures, while layers of jade green and turquoise gather quietly along its edges.
Xianyue Lee explores the contrast between softness and transformation. What begins as the familiar form of a lotus leaf is reshaped by fire into flowing pools of green, milky white crystallization, and intricate mineral textures that feel almost like frost, coral, or tiny blossoms spreading across the surface.
The result feels both botanical and abstract, holding onto the quiet spirit of a lotus while letting fire create its own landscape.
A one-of-a-kind work in soft jade, porcelain white, and traces of earth, made for spaces that invite a slower look.
